Monserrate Bar

A couple of doors down from the famous Hemingway drinking haunt of El Floridita, Monserrate is a Hemingway-free zone, meaning the daiquiris are half the price.‚ Bar Monserrate, situated at the corner of Avenida de Belgica and Obrapia street, close to Obispo street and Parque Central (Central Park) the bar is a popular place in the Havana nightlife.

In the afternoon and evenings you can enjoy live music, much of the ambience depends on the music band that’s playing.‚ Cristal‚ beers and‚ Bucanero‚ beers at 1 CUC, Cuba-Libres, Mojito’s at 3 CUC. Cheap food and snacks are available, but the quality is varying.
