The first shopping mall of its kind in the Northern area, it contributed in uplifting the bland industrial landscape of Riche Terre and in bringing a whole new shopping experience to communities within its catchment area and beyond.

In 2008, the mall was acquired by Foresite Property through its property fund, Ascencia Ltd. The shopping mall had reached the ageing stage of its life cycle and was in need of a major facelift, calling for an infusion of fresh energy and renewed vibrancy, especially in a fast-changing retail landscape and the emergence of new shopping centres throughout the island. The management therefore undertook an extensive redevelopment project in 2012 with the aim of giving a fresh and contemporary look as well as enhancing the functionality of the mall.
